ABOUT STEP IN SPORTS
Local Experts in Custom Team Wear
Founded in 1991 by Bendigo Braves legend Steve Kelly, Step in Sports has been at the forefront of custom sports apparel manufacturing in Central Victoria.
Initially focused on cut-and-sewn basketball uniforms, we have since expanded into sublimation and now offer a comprehensive range of team wear solutions.

Our Legacy & Commitment
After joining Step in Sports in 2007, I, John Rose, have worked to continue Steve’s legacy, advancing our operations by introducing sublimation to meet the growing demands for custom sportswear.
In 2020, we proudly added the state-of-the-art Roland XT 640 sublimation printer, known for its exceptional quality and speed. This machine allows us to deliver vibrant, high-quality designs for sports teams and corporate wear.
Despite the sad passing of Steve in 2020, we remain dedicated to keeping the business locally owned and operated, offering a ‘one-stop-shop’ for all your sports apparel needs, including design, sublimation, cutting, and sewing—all done by our skilled Bendigo team.
